CrewClock Privacy Policy

CrewClock ("the app") is published by Talnir Apps
(support@talnirapps.win). CrewClock is a
workforce app used by a business to run its own team: an owner or manager creates a
company, and employees join it with an invite code.
Please read this if you are an employee. The data you enter in
CrewClock — including the location stamped on your clock-in and clock-out — is visible to
the managers and owner of the company you joined. CrewClock is a tool your employer uses to
record work time.
What we store
- Your account — name, email address, and a one-way hash of your
password (we never store the password itself).
- Your company — company name, time zone, overtime rules, invite code,
your role (owner, manager or employee) and, if your manager sets one, your hourly rate.
- Work time — the times you clock in, clock out and take breaks, plus
any note attached to a punch.
- Location at a punch — see the next section.
- Schedule — shifts assigned to you, and their title, address and notes.
- Messages and updates — the content of chat messages and company
announcements you send, and which announcements you have read or reacted to.
- Push token — an anonymous device token, only if you allow
notifications, so we can deliver them.
Location
If you grant location permission, CrewClock records your coordinates at the
single moment you tap clock in or clock out, so your employer can confirm the
shift began on site. That is the only time location is read.
- There is no background or continuous location tracking. The app does
not follow your movements during a shift, or at any time when you are not punching.
- Location is requested only while the app is in the foreground and you are tapping the
button.
- The permission is optional. If you deny it, the app still works and
you can still clock in and out — the punch is simply saved without coordinates.
Who can see your data
- Your company. Owners and managers of the company you joined can see
your hours, timesheets, punch locations, shifts and messages. Other employees can see the
team directory and any chat or company update they are a member of.
- Us. We operate the server, so we can technically access stored data,
but we only do so when necessary to run or fix the service.
- Nobody else. We do not sell your data, share it with data brokers, or
use it for advertising. CrewClock contains no advertising and no third-party analytics or
tracking SDKs.
Where it is stored, and who processes it
Data is stored in a database on a server operated by Talnir Apps in Canada, reached over
an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. We use a small number of providers to deliver specific
features:
- Cloudflare — routes the encrypted connection between the app and our
server.
- Expo push notification service — delivers notifications to your
device (receives the notification text and your device token).
- Resend — sends a payroll CSV by email, only when a manager explicitly
asks the app to email it.
Keeping and deleting data
Work records are kept for as long as your company uses CrewClock, because employers are
generally required to retain time and pay records. A manager can deactivate a member at any
time.
To have an account or a company and all of its data deleted, email
support@talnirapps.win from the address on the
account. We will action it within 30 days. If you are an employee, note that your work-time
records belong to your employer's account; we will pass a deletion request for those to
the company owner.
Children
CrewClock is a business tool and is not directed at children. Accounts are created by
employers for people of legal working age.
Changes
If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top of this page.
