WaterPrep ("the app") is a study tool for Ontario water and wastewater operator certification exams, published by Talnir Apps (talnirapps@gmail.com). The app is an independent study aid: it does not issue, renew or count toward any certificate or licence, it is not the certification exam, and it is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Government of Ontario, the Ministry of the Environment, Conservation and Parks, or any certification body.
The app has no user accounts and no backend operated by us. Your practice progress, mock exam scores, settings and any certificate renewal date or training hours you enter are stored only on your device. Deleting the app deletes this data. We do not collect, receive or sell any of it.
The app shows ads served by Google AdMob. Where consent regulations apply (e.g. EEA/UK), a consent form is shown on first launch and your choices are respected. On iOS, personalised ads additionally require your permission via App Tracking Transparency; if you decline, ads remain non-personalised and the app works exactly the same.
To serve and measure ads, Google may process device information such as advertising identifiers, IP address and approximate location. See Google's privacy policy and how Google uses ad data.
The app is a study aid for a professional certification held by adults and is not directed at children under 13. It does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
