Termkeep Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 2026

Termkeep: Broker CE & Licence ("the app") is a continuing-education log and licence tracker for Ontario general insurance brokers, with a lookup of Ontario auto insurance rules and practice questions for the entry-level broker exam. It is published by Talnir Apps (talnirapps@gmail.com). The app is independent: it is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to the Ontario insurance broker regulator, any broker association, any education or exam provider, any insurer or the Government of Ontario. It does not issue certificates or CE credit and does not report anything to anyone on your behalf.

Data the app stores

The app has no user accounts and no backend operated by us. Everything you enter stays on your device: the courses you log (title, provider, date, hours, category), the certificate photos and PDFs you attach, your licence profile (level, role, licence date and, if you enter them, your name, firm and licence number for the CE record), your settings and your practice history. We do not collect, receive or sell any of it. Deleting the app, or Settings → Erase everything, deletes it.

Camera, photos and files

The camera, photo library and file picker are used only when you choose to attach a certificate to a course. The selected image or PDF is copied into the app's private storage on your device and is never uploaded by the app.

Notifications

CE term-end and licence-renewal reminders are scheduled locally on your device. No push server is involved and you can turn them off in Settings.

Exports

When you create a CE record PDF or CSV, the app opens your device's share sheet. The file goes only where you choose to send it.

Advertising

The app shows ads served by Google AdMob. Where consent regulations apply (e.g. EEA/UK), a consent form from Google's User Messaging Platform is shown on first launch and your choices are respected; you can change them in Settings. On iOS, personalised ads additionally require your permission via App Tracking Transparency; if you decline, ads remain non-personalised and the app works the same.

To serve and measure ads, Google may process device information such as advertising identifiers, IP address, approximate location, and crash and diagnostic data. See Google's privacy policy and how Google uses ad data. Your CE log, certificates and profile are never shared with the ad SDK.

Children

The app is a professional tool for adults working in insurance and is not directed at children under 13. It does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Content

CE rules are taken from the regulator's published continuing-education requirements. The auto rules lookup summarises the Fault Determination Rules (R.R.O. 1990, Reg. 668) and the Statutory Accident Benefits Schedule (O. Reg. 34/10) from Ontario e-Laws, with the consolidation date shown on each card. It is general information, not legal or insurance advice. Rules change; confirm current requirements with the regulator and the official text before relying on them.
