Sunveya ("the app") shows the sun's path, position, sunrise, sunset, twilight and golden-hour times for any place and date. It is published by Talnir Apps (talnirapps@gmail.com).
The app has no user accounts and no backend operated by us. Your selected place, bookmarks and settings are stored only on your device; deleting the app deletes them. All astronomy is computed on your device.
Granting location permission is optional and only powers the "use my position" button; you can instead search for any place by name. Your position is processed on the device to compute sun times and is never uploaded, stored by us, or shared. Place-name search sends only the text you type to the Open-Meteo geocoding service to look up coordinates.
The app shows ads served by Google AdMob on secondary screens. Where consent regulations apply (e.g. EEA/UK), a consent form is shown on first launch and your choices are respected. On iOS, personalised ads additionally require your permission via App Tracking Transparency; if you decline, ads remain non-personalised and the app works exactly the same.
To serve and measure ads, Google may process device information such as advertising identifiers, IP address and approximate location. See Google's privacy policy and how Google uses ad data.
The app is a general-audience utility and is not directed at children under 13. It does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
