PALPrep ("the app") is a study tool for the written tests of Canada's firearms safety courses (CFSC and CRFSC), published by Talnir Apps (talnirapps@gmail.com). The app does not issue licences or course certificates and is not affiliated with the Government of Canada, the RCMP, or any course provider.
The app has no user accounts and no backend operated by us. Your practice progress, scores and settings are stored only on your device. Deleting the app deletes this data. We do not collect, receive or sell any of it.
The app shows ads served by Google AdMob. Where consent regulations apply (e.g. EEA/UK), a consent form is shown on first launch and your choices are respected. On iOS, personalised ads additionally require your permission via App Tracking Transparency; if you decline, ads remain non-personalised.
To serve and measure ads, Google may process device information such as advertising identifiers, IP address and approximate location. See Google's privacy policy and how Google uses ad data.
The app is a study aid for an adult licensing process and is not directed at children under 13. It does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
